Preamble
With much
prayer and the sense of the Spirit’s
leading,
we believe that GOD is calling us, His
people,
to a vision of renewal and a time of
rededication.
The following
eleven statements call us to a renewal of
care
for one another,
for our youth,
and for our community.
Statements of Intent
God’s Word is Important
We will be diligent in reading,
preaching, teaching, and living God’s
Word. Blessed is the church that is
grounded in God’s Word.

Prayer is Important
We will be diligent in prayer and
earnestly seek opportunities to pray for
individuals, the church, the local
community and the nations. Blessed is
the church that prays.

21:13; 2 Chron. 7:14; Luke 22:40)
Worship is Important
We will program for meaningful
worship, balancing contemporary and
traditional styles. Blessed is the
church that truly worships.

Leadership is Important
We will enable and train leaders. Blessed is the church led on the path of
God.

People are Important
We will bring Jesus to the
community and the community to the church. We will provide teaching for all age
groups. Blessed is the church full of
love.

Caring is Important
We will encourage and facilitate
formation of care groups with appropriate
training of leaders. Outreach will continue
to be emphasized. All members will be cared
for. Blessed is the church that truly
cares.

Youth are Important
We will encourage our Youth and
College & Career groups to be active in
discipling, worship, service and outreach. Blessed is the church that nurtures
youth.

Missions is Important
We will support MBMSI
[now, Multiply] while actively calling out youth and adults
for Christian service. Blessed is the
church that goes where Christ
sends.

Community Relations are Important
We will offer our sanctuary and
facilities to appropriate community
organizations and events. Blessed is the
church that is a good neighbour.

Facilities are Important
We will develop a long-range plan to build an educational / recreational facility. Blessed is the church with room for all.
Stewardship is Important
We will be diligent in supporting
programs of the church with our time,
talents, and finances. Blessed is the
church that gives generously and
joyfully.

It is our prayer that this vision of
renewal, both corporately and
individually, will bring greater glory to GOD.
